Obituary

Kenneth Clifford Roberts, 81, of Calhoun, Georgia died Monday, January 24, 2022, after four years of declining health. He was born on May 9, 1940, in Ocilla, Georgia to the late Jim and Ella Bea Jones Roberts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Roscoe Roberts and Tillman Roberts; sisters, Doris Kilgore, Estelle Aycock, Odell Reynolds, and Evelyn Royal; brother-in-law, Steve McDaniel.
Kenneth was a member of Riverview Baptist Church where he served as the Sunday School director for many years. He was retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of dedicated service. After retiring from Ford Motor Company, he was appointed by Sheriff Mitch Ralston as a bailiff for the Gordon County Superior Court where he served for 23 years. He loved his wife, daughters and adored his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Brenda Roberts; daughters and sons-in-law, Julianne (James) Langley, India (Lane) Bennett, Kiki (Brian) Quinn, and Niki (Clint) Smith; brother and sister-in-law, Frank (Rita) Roberts of White, GA; sister, Carolyn Hobby of Wray, GA; grandchildren, Gage Quinn, Hank Smith, and Laney Kate Bennett; nephews, Flipper McDaniel and Anthony (India) McDaniel; great-niece, Abigale and Arley Rae McDaniel; great-nephew, Oaklen McDaniel; brother-in-law, Philip (Linda) McDaniel; as well as many other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral will be conducted on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 12:00 noon from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Dr. Bert Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery will Rev. Harold Blackstock conducting the graveside rites. Pallbearers serving include, James Langley, Lane Bennett, Brian Quinn, Clint Smith, Flipper McDaniel, and Anthony McDaniel. Honorary pallbearers include the grandchildren, Gage Quinn, Hank Smith, Laney Kate Bennett, along with Abigale and Oaklen McDaniel and Bailiffs of the Gordon County Superior Court.
