Kenneth Parker

Mr. Kenneth Glenn Parker, age 71 of Plainville, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013 at his residence following two years of declining health.

Mr. Parker was born on November 4, 1941 in Pickens County, GA, son of the late William Edgar Parker and Ethelle Estelle Moss Parker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Adaz Bowdin; and two brothers, J.D. Parker and Charlie Parker.

He was a retired employee of Florida Tile Company, and was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Parker is survived by his wife, Frances Roden Parker, to whom he was married for 40 years; two sons, Kenny Parker and his wife Lisa of Resaca, and Kevin Parker and his wife Kym of Plainville; two sisters, Beverly Cochran and her husband Ben, and Eloise Smith, all of Thomaston, GA; three brothers, E.W Parker and his wife Jill of Blaine, Washington, Max Parker , and Danny Parker and his wife Nettie, all of Forsyth, GA; two special grandchildren, Kenzlee Parker and Kymber Parker; and a special friend, Rex Carter. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Glenn Parker will be conducted Monday, May 20, 2013 at 3:30 pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Marvin Jackson and Rev. Jerry Branton officiating.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour of 3:30 pm
