Kenneth "Kenny" Parker Jr.

Mr. Kenneth (Kenny) Glenn Parker, Jr., 60, of Resaca, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2023, at his residence following a period of declining health.

He was born January 20, 1964, the son of the late Kenneth Glenn Parker Sr. and Bernice Davis Parker. He attended Red Bud School and graduated from Darlington School in Rome, Georgia. Before his disability, he was employed by Lift One as a service technician. He was a member of Maple Grove Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Denise Stone Parker, to whom he was married for 35 years; his brother, Kevin Parker of Nashville, TN; and other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 21st, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home. Rev. Alan Ledford and Rev. Michael Clark will officiate. Tammy Miller will arrange the music. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Terry Hensley officiating.

Stanley Woody, Steve Miller, David Land, Zach Bowen, Jerry Thompson, and Larry Walraven will serve as pallbearers. 

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral Home.
