Kenny Broome

Mr. Kenny Broome, age 27 of Calhoun, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2009. Kenny was born in Gordon County on October 20, 1981, son of Rickey and Linda Jackson Broome. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Walter Charles and Myrtle Ozella Davis Broome, and Lewis Edward and Betty Cook Jackson. He was a beloved son, father, and brother, and will be missed dearly.

In addition to his parents he is also survived by his wife, Shandi Diana Greeson Broome of Calhoun; a son, Ashton Zyler Broome; and a brother, Rickey Broome and his wife Keisha. Nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Kenny Broome will be conducted Monday July 27, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Jamey Hunt officiating. Active pallbearers will include Rickey Broome, Stephen Jackson, Brian Greeson, Chris Rogers, Dereck Broome, and Joshua Broome. Honorary pallbearers are Davie Matchit, Derek Davenport, Mark Matchit, Joe Quarles, Scott Depp, and Denny Curtis. Burial will follow in the Fain Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m.
