Kevin Richard Massingill

Kevin Richard Massingill, age 27 of Parker Road, Calhoun, died Tuesday morning at his residence following an extended illness. Kevin was born on June 24, 1980 in Whitfield County, son of Franklin Lamar Massingill and Jean Parker Massingill.

Besides his parents, Kevin is survived by sisters; Brandi Jones and her husband Jack, of Calhoun, Tammy Pass of Calhoun, and Donna Hughes and Nicole Massingill, both of Dalton; brothers; J.Lamar Massingill, Chad Massingill and his wife Robin all of Calhoun, and Tony Massingill and Ryan Massingill, both of Dalton. Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral services for Kevin Richard Massingill will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 A.M., from the Chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. David Ray officiating. Pallbearers serving will include Billy Howard, Jack Jones, Derek Spearman, Kevin Lambert, Daniel Howard, Jason Etheridge and Anthony Robinson. Interment will follow the service at the Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home Wednesday after 11:30 A.M. The family requests that no flowers be sent, but please make a contribution in memory of Kevin Massingill to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
