Kevin Shane Dean

Kevin Shane Dean, age 23 of Rome, died Monday, August 1, 2011 from injuries received in a motorcycle accident.

Kevin was born on October 1, 1987 in Floyd County, son of Ricky Lamar Dean and the late Nancy Elva Dixon Dean.

Survivors are a son, Cameron Shane Dean of Rome; his father, Ricky Lamar Dean and his wife Sandra of Rome; three sisters, Tosha King and Melissa Dean both of Rome, and Nicole Hutchinson of Rhode Island; four brothers, Joshua Dean of Plainville, and Jeremiah Dean, Harley Dean, and Christopher Hutchinson, all of Rome; and grandparents, Ann Dean of Calhoun, Mildred Dean of Sugar Valley, and Charlie and Darlene Gamble of Winter Haven, Florida. Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services for Kevin Shane Dean will be conducted Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 10:00 am from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service in the Scott Cemetery.

The Dean family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Wednesday from 6:00pm until 9:00pm.
