Mrs. Kimberly Farrell Slaughter, age 46 of Calhoun, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at her residence. She was born on June 26, 1966, daughter of James Farrell and Mary Goforth Parker, both of Calhoun.
Kimberly was employeed at Elite Sample. She was of the Seventh-Day Adventist faith.
Survivors include her companion, Ted Rankin of Calhoun; two sons, Dennis Farrell of Calhoun, and Dustin Moore and his wife Kimberly of Armuchee; her parents, James Farrell and Mary Goforth Parker, both of Calhoun; a brother, Kevin Farrell and his wife Katrina of Plainville; two step-brothers, Scott Wingate of Calhoun and Harold Parker and his wife Amanda of Tampa, FL; three step-sisters, Angie Parker of Newport Richie, FL, Tammy Talent of Cleveland, TN, and Gayle Boyd of Calhoun; grandchildren, Makayla and Kaiden Farrell, Landon and Jaden Moore; a step-grandchild, Aaron Nelson; nephews, Eathan and Mathew Farrell; a step-niece, Aailayah Parker; aunts, Linda Holden and Callie Chastain; an uncle, Leon Farrell; and cousins, Bryan Holden and Stephen Holden.
Funeral services for Mrs. Kimberly Farrell Slaughter will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 3:00p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Walter Hare and Rev. Gary Rustad officiating. Burial will follow in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Eathen and Mathew Farrell, Bryan Holden, Edward Gowens, and Anthony and Cody Robinson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
