Lanny Cooper

Mr. Lanny Clifton Cooper I, age 64 of Resaca, GA, died Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Hamilton Medical Center.

Mr. Cooper was born on June 20, 1949 in Gordon County, son of the late Clifton and Eva Ruthell Hightower Phillips.

During his lifetime, he served his country with the United States Air Force and was employed with Shaw Industries. He was a member of East Calhoun Church of God.

Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline McQueary Cooper; three sons, Lanny Clifton Cooper II of Dalton, and Dwayne Lee Cooper and Jeremy Mathew Cooper, both of Resaca; a sister, Debbie Michele Kennedy of Calhoun; grandchildren, Clifton Devin Cooper, Melisa Paige Cooper, Justin Lee Cooper, Eva Brooke Cooper and Timothy Rich Cooper; and a daughter-in-law, Maria Cooper of Dalton.

A memorial service for Mr. Lanny Clifton Cooper I will be conducted at a later date.
