Larry Bailey

Mr. Robert Larry Bailey, age 58 of Calhoun, died Friday, January 13, 2017 at Erlanger Medical Center following an extended illness. He was born in Gordon County on September 16, 1958, son of the late Robert Louis Bailey and the late Martha Sue Cowart. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Helen Pack Bailey in 2012.
He leaves behind his daughters and sons-in-law, Mona and Michael Beal of Fairmount, Tina and Al James of Summerville, and Patti and James (Ben) Karr of Calhoun; his sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Billy Crocker of Calhoun; his half-brother, Gene Raynes; his grandchildren, Matthew Beal, Amanda Sheriff, Mackenzie Beal, Brittany Watson, Ashley Poster, and Alex Turnbull; and great-grandchildren, Jaelen, Kenslyn, Benjamin, Laiklee, Kamden, Katherine, Zoe, and Lillian. Other survivors include nieces and nephews, Tiffany Smith, Teesha Evans, and John Lee, and other nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services to honor the life of Mr. Robert Larry Bailey will be held Sunday, January 15th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Mitch Phillips and Ethan Watson officiating. Interment will follow in Chandler Cemetery.
The Bailey family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 14th at 6:00 PM.
