Larry Jack Henson

Mr. Larry Jack Henson, 72, of Calhoun died at his home on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. Larry was born in Gordon County on July 23, 1944; he was the son of the late Hubert Henson and the late Bonnie Cook Henson Greeson. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death brother, Bernard Henson. Larry served in the United States Army.
Survivors are his wife, Nancy Sams Henson; his sons and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Michelle Henson, and Joey Henson; his daughter, Darlene White; his step-son, Brian Sams; his grandchildren, Brandon Henson, Emily Nelson, Nicholas Nelson, Ashley Henson, Kaylen Henson, Jackie Henson, Katlyn Henson, and Michael Kersey; his brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Kathy Henson; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Loretta Poarch, Betty and Wayne Howell, Mozelle Sexton, Deborah and Don Edwards, Vicky and Lyle Lambert, and Shirley and Mike Cross; his great-grandchildren, Ashton Henson, Maddie Henson, Braxton Henson, Savannah Hart, and Lincoln Hart; his sister-in-law, Avanell Henson Dickson; other relatives and friends.
The Henson family will receive friends on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. To honor his wishes, Larrys body will be cremated.
