Larry Ray Goforth

Mr. Larry Ray Goforth, 50 of Calhoun, died suddenly on Tuesday, January 31, 2017. He was born in Gordon County on September 18, 1966, son of the late H.C. and Janelle Petty Goforth.
Larry was employed with Shaw Industries, Plant 52, and was of the Baptist faith.
He leaves behind his wife, Karen Patterson Goforth; his daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and Jared Hopper of Calhoun, and Deanna and Blake Smith of Dalton; his step-children, Timothy Brake (Diana), and their children, Anthony and Ashton, of Commerce, and Tony Brake (Brandy), and their children, Austin, Angel, Kareanne, Denise, and Braton, of LaGrange; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charlie Goforth, Robert and Rachael Goforth, and Randy and Shelia Goforth; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Ann Stone, Gail and Tex Epperson, "Sissy" Karen Cowser, Jean and Buck Broome, Patsy Worley, and Sandra Davis; and grandchildren, Katlynn Hopper and Kenslie Hopper. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
Services to honor the life of Mr. Larry Ray Goforth will be held Thursday, February 2nd at 6:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Larry Miles and Rev. Wesley Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Goforth family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, from 5:00 PM until the service hour.
