Laura Petty

Mrs. Laura Ann Petty age 36 of Calhoun went home to live with her Lord and Savior Tuesday December 29, 2009 following an extended illness.

Laura was a mother to her children and devoted to her church family at Philadelphia Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving husband Richard, children Marshall and Montana Petty of Calhoun. Mother Ann Watts of Calhoun and father Simmons Watts of Conyers, Brothers Walter and his wife Kim Watts of Lawrence, GA. John Watts of Kennesaw, Grandmother Vivian T. Mosteller of Calhoun. Three nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Celebration of her life services will be held 11a.m. Saturday January 2, 2010 from the Philadelphia Baptist Church with Rev. Tim McCulley, Rev. Marvin Carr, and Rev. Jack Cole officiating. Interment will follow in the Fain cemetery. Pallbearers serving include Dennis Wyatt, Clark Sexton, Allen Gabehart, Donald Bowman, Shane Sullivan, and Allen Culvey.

The family will receive friends Friday January 1, 2010 between the hours of 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
