Obituary

Lavon "Bonnie" Beard, 62, of Ranger, Ga, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021. She was born in Bennettsville, South Carolina on February 21, 1958, to the late Prentiss and Katherine Folk Pruitt. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Melton Pruitt, Ebbie Pruitt, Richard Pruitt; sister, Dorothy Ingells; brother-in-law, David Usher; sister-in-law, Kathy Pruitt.
She is survived by her spouse of 46 years, Robbie Beard; son and daughter-in-law Jonathan and Kaylen Beard; daughter and son-in-law Katherine and Mark Thurman; sisters, Betty Usher, Patricia (Tex) Taylor; grandchildren Caroline Beard, Brooklyn Beard, Savannah Thurman, and Katelin Thurman.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 14, 2021, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. The service will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
