Lawrence Decatur Carroll

Mr. Lawrence Decatur Carroll, age 56 of Rome, died Saturday, February 19, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Floyd County on April 24, 1955, son of Pearl Walker Carroll and the late Lawson Carroll.

Survivors include his mother, Pearl Walker Carroll; and his wife of 16 years, Janie Waddell Carroll.

Funeral services for Mr. Lawrence Decatur Carroll will be conducted Thursday, February 24th at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Johnny Wayne Hand officiating. Interment will follow in the Chandler Cemetery. Active pallbearers are Nick Hand, John Hand, Chris Thompson, Cody Waddell, William Waddell, and J.C. Witt. Honorary escorts are Johnny Waddell and Billy Johnson.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Thursday from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour of 2:00pm.
