Lawrence Wright

Lawrence E. Wright, age 71 of Stanton, Nebraska died Monday September 3, 2012 at his home in Stanton, Nebraska. He was born April 22, 1941 the son of the late William and Alice (Craig) Wright. He attended Poly Tech High School in Long Beach, California. Lawrence worked for Dragon Valves at Norwalk, California in the production of aerospace parts for Apollo space flights.

Lawrence married Judy Marie Schwartz on April 20, 1959 at Long Beach, CA. Three children were born to this union, they were later divorced. In 1973 Lawrence began work at Harbison-Walker Refractors in Calhoun, Georgia for over 30 years. He married Lila "Jo" Beckwith on May 20, 1975 at Ringgold, Georgia. The couple retired and moved to Stanton, Nebraska in 2003. Lawrence's hobbies include hunting and fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Lawrence is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter Sherie Davis; a granddaughter Brittany Wright and by a brother Fred.
