Leonard Charles Falls

Mr. Leonard Charles "L. C." Falls, age 71 of Calhoun, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Redmond Regional Medical Center. He was born in Walker County, GA on December 2, 1942, son of the late Leonard J. and Ila Wilson Falls.

Mr. Falls was retired from Marmac Texaco Oil Company after 32 years, was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Elks Club and the American Legion. He attended Rush Chapel United Methodist Church in Shannon.

He leaves behind his wife of 49 years, Sandra Bailey Falls; a daughter, Shireen Howard of Calhoun; grandchildren, Trevor Howard and Danae Howard of Calhoun; father-in-law, T.J. "Dude" Bailey of Calhoun; a brother-in-law, Rodney Bailey and his wife Joan of Calhoun; a special cousin, Joanie Cash; plus special friends and golf buddies.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. Leonard Charles "L.C." Falls will be held Sunday, May 4th at 4:00 PM from Rush Chapel United Methodist Church in Shannon, with Rev. Larry Russell and Rev. Valerie Loner officiating.

The Falls family will receive friends at Rush Chapel United Methodist Church on Sunday from 3:00 PM until the service hour.

The family asks that flowers be omitted.
