Obituary
Lester Mullins, 78, of Resaca, died on Monday, November 11, 2019 at his home following after several years of declining health. Lester was born in Murray County on May 4th, 1941, son of the late Estelle Morgan Mullins and Henry Adam Mullins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Jonathon Mullins, Bill Mullins, and Daniel Mullins; his brothers, Willie Mullins, James Mullins, A.J. Mullins, and Rudolph Mullins; his sisters, Geneva Pickles, and Annie Mae Palmers; and his first wife, Glenda Sue Mullins.
He leaves behind his wife Linda Smith Mullins; his son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Jan Mullins of Sonoraville; his daughters and sons-in-law, Alicia and Doug Cain of Chatsworth, Janice Spurlock of Chatsworth, Brenda Gail Caldwell of Chatsworth, and Elizabeth Holland of Ranger; his brothers and sisters-in-law Bill and Claudia Mullins of Chatsworth, and Clifford and Evie Mullins of Eaton; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean Thomas of Murray County, Sue and Charlie Pierce of Dalton, and Fannie Ruth and Buster Wilkins of Dalton; and a host of grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
Services to honor his life will be Wednesday, November 13, at 1:00 PM, from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home , with Rev. Delmar Ledford officiating. Pallbearers serving will include Jeff Nicholson, Ethan Ramply, Shauna Seeber, Jason McGill, John Thomas, and Donovan Ramply. Burial will follow at Fairview Church of God Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 12th, from 6:00PM until 8:00 PM.
