Lewis Johnson

Mr. Lewis Johnson, age 82 of Calhoun, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at Gordon Health Care Center following one year of declining health.

Mr. Johnson was born on February 10, 1926 in Gilmer County, Georgia, son of the late Henry Clay Johnson and Hattie Hope Johnson. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Lovell Crump Johnson. He is survived by daughters, sons and grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Lewis Johnson will be conducted Thursday at 11:00am from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Anthony Jeffords and Rev. Anthony Lombard officiating. Active pallbearers serving will include; Jimmy Johnson, Lewis Johnson, Jr., Clyde Allen, Mark Fowler, Tucker Allen, and Jonathan Ahlberg. Interment will follow the service in the family lot of the Harmony Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home Wednesday from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
