Lillie Mae Timms went to be with the Lord on November 2, 2016. Lillie Mae was born on February 7th 1936. She was a member of Victory Fellowship Full Gospel Church..
Lillie Mae was the Mother of Resaca Assembly of God, Canton Assembly of God,
and Victory Fellowship Full Gospel Church during her husband, Jimmie Timms' ministry. She also taught adult Sunday school for numerous years.
Lillie Mae was preceded in death by her Great Grandson, Arian Jacob Timms; her parents, Lincoln Freeman and Geneva Reeves Freeman; her sisters, Viola Hall, Frances Johns, Sarah Sewell, Laria Freeman; her brothers, Rev. Oscar Freeman, Leonard Freeman, Alvin Freeman, James Freeman, Leo Freeman, and Thurman Freeman; her foster-sister, Lou Sherman; her foster-brother, Lonnie Freeman
Survivors include her husband of 60 years Rev. Jimmie Timms Sons; her sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Faye Timms, Lance and Lesa Timms, and Rev. Terry and Kim Timms; her grandchildren, Tristan Timms, Cody (Brenda) Timms, Christopher (Nikki) Timms, Hunter (Karla) Garrett, and Hannah Garrett; her great-grandchildren; Logan Timms, Jackson Timms, Emirsyn Timms, and Lane Garrett; her brothers and sisters-in-law, C.J and Mary Freemans, and Herman and Glenda Freeman; her sister-in-law, Stella Freeman; a number of nieces and nephews.
The Timms family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m.
The funeral service will be conducted on Friday, November 4, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. from Resaca Assembly of God. Burial will follow the service at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Terry Timms will officiate. Mrs. Timms body will lie in state at the church on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers are Chris Timms, Cody Timms, Tristen Timms, and Hunter Garrett. Honorary pallbearers are the church families from Resaca Assembly of God and Victory Fellowship Full Gospel Church.
