Linda Lee Combs

Mrs. Linda Lee Combs, age 56 of Calhoun, passed away Monday, March 1, 2010 at Erlanger Medical Center. She was born in Marietta, GA on December 11, 1953, daughter of the late Thomas Lee Bartlett and the late Juanita Martinez Pendergrass Bartlett. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara McQuinn.

Mrs. Combs was employed by Specialty Engineering Products in the billing department, and was a member of the Bethesda Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Billy Joe Combs; a son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Celeste Manzano of Calhoun; two daughters and sons-in-law, Nichole and Jason Bearden of Calhoun, and Vanessa and Ben Sutherland of Bremen; a step-daughter, Amber Nicole Combs of Fernandina Beach, Florida; a sister, Teresa Bartlett of Calhoun; and grandchildren, Kiani Bearden, Kailee Bearden, Sharayah Ayers, Meilin Manzano, Zoe Leigh Manzano, Colton Wilson, and Braelyn Wilson. An aunt and uncle, Lainita and Wade Glass of Adairsville; and two nieces, Mandy McKissick of Fort Knox, Kentucky and Jennifer Ford of Houston, Texas also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Lee Combs will be conducted Friday, March 5th at 3:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Wesley Hunt officiating. Honorary pallbearers will include Terry Hopper, Lee Rankin, Greg Combs, Rick Combs, and Deronda Combs.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Friday from 1:00pm until the funeral hour of 3:00pm.
