Obituary

Mrs. Linda Lou (Rininger) Waters, 77, of Calhoun, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, in Gordon Health Care. She was surrounded by love and appreciation from her family by her side. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Now she has gained her wings and has become a beautiful angel to watch over us all.
Linda was born in Louisville, Kentucky on January 16, 1945. Prior to her retirement, she was an executive secretary for Shaw Industries and was a member of Boone Ford Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 9 years, Rev. A.J. Waters of Calhoun; two sons, Shanan Rininger of Cleveland, TN, and Dale Rininger of Dalton, GA; two granddaughters, Renee Higdon and Aleshia Atkins; five great-grandchildren, Jackson Higdon, Cooper Higdon, Ava (Rininger) Atkins, Bella Atkins, and Oliver Atkins, a host of cousins, and other relatives.
A service to celebrate the life of Linda Rininger Waters will be held on Saturday, July, 2nd at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with her husband, Rev. A.J. Waters, and Rev. Gary Quarles officiating. Burial will follow at Haven of Rest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 2nd from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour.
