Linda Mae Young Silvers

Mrs. Linda Mae Young Silvers, 53 of Ranger, GA died Monday, May 23, 2016 at her home. She was born in Gordon County on August 10, 1962, daughter of Tamer Mulkey Young, and the late William Samuel Young. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by sisters, Sandra Hamrick and Brenda Gilbert; and brothers, Danny Young and Donnie Young. Linda was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Scott Silvers; sons and daughters-in-law, Lamar and Ellen Gilfoil, William and Kristal Gilfoil, Cully and Jennifer Gilfoil, Scott Silvers, and Jacob Silvers; daughters, Kisha McCoy and Jennifer Spurling; her mother, Tamer Mulkey Young; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Jo and Jimmy Brown; and grandchildren, Jeremiah Daniel, Lucy Gilfoil, Liam James Gilfoil, Maci Gilfoil, Miley Gilfoil, Zach Silvers, McKenzie Silvers, T.J. Spurling, and Larry Spurling.

Services to honor the life of Mrs. Linda Mae Young Silvers will be held Friday, May 27th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Delmar Ledford and Rev. Jeff Hendrix officiating. Honoring her wishes, her body will be cremated following the service.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 26th from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.

The family requests flowers be omitted, with memorial contributions being made to the Linda Mae Young Silvers Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 1027, Calhoun, GA 30703.
