Lois Kelly

Mrs. Lois Kelly, age 79 of Resaca, died Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Gordon Health Care following several years of declining health. She was born in Bartow County on March 2, 1932, daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Dover Cagle. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William "Buck" Kelly; and two brothers, Marvin Cagle and Junior Cagle. She was a homemaker during her lifetime and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Paul Barton of Resaca; three brothers, Charles Cagle and Carl Cagle, both of Rome, and Raymond Cagle and his wife Janice of Cartersville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy and Buster Goss, and Imogene and Wayne Minshew, all of Rome; and two grandchildren, Megan and Zack Barton. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Kelly will be conducted Friday, March 11th at 4:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Pastor Steve Morrow officiating. Interment will follow in the Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will include Wayne Cagle, Tony Cagle, Zack Stone, Stacey Stone, Robbie Morrow, and Slade Barton.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Thursday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm.
