Louise Brown Causby

Mrs. Louise Brown Causby, age 77 of 203 Overlook Drive, Calhoun, Georgia died May 27, 2007 at her residence following an extended illness.

Mrs. Causby was born in Bartow County, Georgia on February 14, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Robert D. and Mattie Sue Staten Brown. Mrs. Causby was preceded in death by her husband, Steed Causby in 1997 and by a brother, Lamar Brown in 1945 and by a daughter-in-law, Lori Farriba Causby in 2006. She was retired and was a member of Calhoun First Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter; Stacy Bevil and her husband Chris of Knoxville, TN; two sons, Greg Causby of Calhoun and Roger Causby of Resaca; two sisters; Mildred Hendrix of Calhoun and Lois Thompson of Smyrna, Georgia; two brothers; Gerald Brown and Roland Brown both of Calhoun; and two grandchildren; Megan and Chip Bevil, both of Knoxville, TN.

Funeral services for Mrs. Louise Brown Causby will be held Tuesday, May 29th, at 1:00 PM from the Calhoun First Baptist Church with Dr. Bert Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery. Music will be arranged by Newton Hendrix. Pallbearers serving will include Newton Hendrix, Dwight Brown, Scotty Welch, Rev. Bobby Causby, Gerald Mashburn and William "Chief" Worley.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home Monday from 1:00PM until 3:00PM and from 6:00PM until 8:00PM.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Calhoun First Baptist Church Building Fund in Mrs. Causby's memory.
