Obituary

Loyd Richard Jackson, 87, of Adairsville, GA died Thursday, September 5, 2019. He was born on March 5, 1932, son of the late Bernard and Bessie Pearl Reed Jackson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Loyd R. Jackson II, and brothers, John W. Jackson and Hubert E. Jackson.
Mr. Jackson was a veteran, serving his country in the US Army from 1952 until 1961.
Survivors include his daughter, Katherine Cozad of Jacksonville Beach, FL; his brothers, Hoyt B. Jackson of Centre, AL, and Walter H. Jackson of Lincolnton, GA; several grandchildren; and special friend, Judy Ballew of Calhoun.
Honoring his wishes, his body was cremated and no services were held.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home of Calhoun.
