Lucille Baugh

April 28, 1919 — May 20, 2016

Mrs. Lucille Baugh, 97 of Calhoun, passed away Friday, May 20, 2016 at Gordon Health Care. She was born in Gordon County on April 28, 1919, and was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Baker; a son, James Donald Baugh; brothers, Charlie Baker, David Baker, and Barney Baker; a sister, Estelle Nicholson; and a daughter-in-law, Markey Fletcher-Baugh.

Survivors include her children, Billy Baugh, Bonnie Talley, and Edna Baugh, all of Calhoun; grandchildren, Kita Bone, Lanita Cagle, Belina Bramblett, Michael Baugh, Joseph Predni, and Ashley Baugh; eight great-grandchildren; and seven, great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Baugh was a member of South Calhoun Baptist Church, and prior to her illness, had not missed Sunday School for over 53 years.

Services to honor the life of Mrs. Lucille Baugh will be held Monday, May 23rd at 12:00 noon from South Calhoun Baptist Church, with Wayne Brown, Rev. Gary Bowman, and Rev. Clifford Free officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Dickie Bone, Dan Bramblett, Steve Cagle, Josh Bone, Seth Bone, and Griffin Bramblett.

The Baugh family will receive friends at South Calhoun Baptist Church on Monday from 10:00 AM until the service hour.

The family would like give special thanks to Gordon Health Care and Dr. Judy Smith for their care of Mrs. Baugh.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the South Calhoun Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 552, Calhoun, GA 30703.
