Mrs. Lucille Virginia Lunsford, age 93 of Ranger, died Friday, April 8, 2011 at her residence following an extended illness.
Mrs. Lunsford was born on March 10, 1918 in South Pittsburg, Tennessee, daughter of the late Willie and Carol Lou Quarles Graham. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Buck Lunsford; two daughters, Sylvia Ann Hancock, and Wilma Sue Beard; two brothers, Hubert Graham and Luther Graham; and two sisters, Inez Rayburn and Alene Ezell. She was a member of the Calhoun Full Gospel Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Carrie Sue Bukhari of Highland, Texas; a brother, John Graham of Tennessee; six grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille Virginia Lunsford will be held Monday, April 11, 2011 at 11:00 am from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Pastor Hershel Pierce officiating. Pallbearers serving will include, Michael Stone, Donald Silvers, Billy Fuller, Glenn Stone, Grady Hargraves and Daniel Hargraves. Interment will follow in the Crane Eater Cemetery.
The family will receive friend at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Sunday from 3:00pm until 9:00pm.
