Lynn Gann

Mr. Lynn Gann, age 43 of Calhoun, passed away Friday, March 12, 2010 at his residence.

He was born on July 24, 1966 in Rogersville, Tennessee, son of Albert Jerry Gann and Shirley Elizabeth Mullins Gann. Mr. Gann was preceded in death by an infant brother, James Britton Gann; and by grandparents, J.B. Pool, Laura Mullins and Isaac Mullins.

During his lifetime, he was employed with the City of Calhoun Utilities Department, and was a member of the Sugar Valley Baptist Church.

Mr. Gann is survived by his wife, Cris Gann; two daughters, Kayla Gann and Mary Gann; a son, Casey Gann; a stepdaughter, Amanda Roe; a stepson, Nick Roe; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Jerry Gann; a sister, Sherry Gann; a brother, Randy Gann, all of Calhoun; grandmother, Easlee Poole of Rising Fawn; and two step-grandchildren, Mason Roe and Karson Cavins. Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Lynn Gann will be conducted Monday at 11:00am from the Sugar Valley Baptist Church, with Rev. Dwaine Shadix and Rev. Mitch Phillips officiating. Interment will follow the service in Payne's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Ricky Garnett, Dewayne York, Blake Holbert, Glen Vanhouton, Wes Crowder and Michael Roberts. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Sunday from 6:00pm until 9:00pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
