Mack Samuel Garland

Mr. Mack Samuel Garland, 84, of Kingston died Saturday, October 29, 2016. He was born in Cherokee County, GA on September 21, 1932; son of the late Dan and Ollie Cantrel Garland. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Lon and Dorathy Garland, Monroe and Dollie Garland, and Grady Garland; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Mamie and Homer Smith, Shedd and Bob Silvers, and Myrtle Garland.
Mr. Garland was of the Christian faith. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by his son, Clay Garland and his wife Cathy; daughters, Joann Leming and her husband Wyley and Brenda Dodd and her husband Ted; a sister-in-law, Diane Garland; grandchildren, Ricky Leming, Travis Leming, Candi Garland, Colt Garland, Bonnie Dodd, Breanna Ashworth, and Alicia Scott; great-grandchildren, Blake Leming, Jasmine Leming, Noah Leming, Lucas Garland, Miles Garland, and Ava Nelle Ashworth.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at Salacoa Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Travis Leming, Blake Leming, Ricky Leming, Colt Garland, Preston Crow, and Joey Hazelwood.
