Maggie Linderman Quarles

Mrs. Maggie Linderman Quarles, age 91 of Calhoun, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015 at her home. She was born on February 13, 1924, daughter of the late Ein and Ollie Linderman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Will Moore Hamilton; her second husband, Olin Quarles; a brother and sister-in-law, Glen and Eileen Linderman; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Alice and Ray Holtzclaw, Ellen and Bill Ortwein, and Maxine and Mafford Caldwell.

Mrs. Quarles moved to Calhoun 30 years ago from Dalton. She was a happy person, working to age 86. She loved music and dancing. She was known to always do it her way.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Brenda Hamilton of Calhoun, Hugh and Elizabeth Hamilton of Rocky Face, and Bobby and Sue Quarles of Atlanta; a brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Virginia Linderman of Costa Rica; grandchildren, Tracie Nesbitt and William Hamilton III; and great-grandchildren, Carly Nesbitt, Max Nesbitt, Katherine Nesbitt, and Carson Hamilton.

Services to honor the life of Mrs. Maggie Linderman Quarles will be held Wednesday, September 16th at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Music will be arranged by Donnie Nesbitt. Interment will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Billy Hamilton, Hugh Hamilton, William Hamilton, Bobby Quarles, Max Nesbitt, and Butch Ortwein.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 15th at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Flowers are to be omitted, but make memorial donations in Mrs. Quarles's name to the Blewer Memorial Food Distribution Center, 373 Morrow Road, Calhoun, GA 30701.
