Maggie Sue Coggins Manley, age 76, of the Fidelle Community passed away Monday, November 24, 2014, at Gordon Health Care, surrounded by her family, after several months of declining health.
She was born August 10, 1938, daughter of the late Herman and Ollie White Coggins. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Chester Manley, and an infant son, Philip Manley. She was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church.
She is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Freda and Eddie Stewart, and Phyllis Johnson, all of Nickelsville; granddaughters, Cristi and Michael Fuquea of Calhoun, Brandi Johnson of Nickelsville and her fiancAC.e Brian Ehrnfeldt of Hill City, Brandy Stewart, and TJ Baldwin of Carbondale; great-grandchildren, Nicole and Dakota Stewart and Levi Baldwin of Carbondale; sister, Relda and Odas Crook of Nickelsville; brothers; Morgan Coggins of Nickelsville, Gether and JoAnn Coggins of Chatworth, and Lowell Coggins of Pine Chapel. Several aunts, nieces, and nephews also survive.
Services to celebrate the life of Maggie Sue Coggins Manley will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Evergreen Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Beason, Rev. Jerome Silvers, and Rev. Crawford Greeson officiating. Interment will follow in Fidelle Cemetery. Music will be arranged by Johnny Beason. Pallbearers serving are Reed Crook, Ricky Crook, Joseph Crook, Terry Green, Michael Fuquea, T.J. Baldwin, and Dakota Stewart.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
