Mahala "Ann" Rose Collins

Mahala “Ann” Rose Collins, 70, of Fairmount, Georgia, and formally of the White Level Community in North Carolina, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born in Nashville, North Carolina, on March 15, 1954, to the late Louis Albert Rose and Lessie Mae Poythress. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Rose, and sisters, Elsie Tippett and Carolyn Coggins.

Ann was a loving mother, grandmother, GiGi, sister, aunt, and friend. 

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kimlie Collins Couch (James); sons and daughter-in-law, William Russ Collins (Amanda), Zeb Wade Collins, and Michael Keith Pulley; brother and sister-in-law, Earl Sauls (Faye); sister, Susie Moss; grandchildren, Elizabeth Woodard, Emily Woodard, McKenzie Collins, Blake Collins, Nathan Collins, Dylan Collins, Remington Collins, Ashley Thomas, and Marisa Couch; great-grandchildren, Esther Couch and Kasen Thomas; nieces and nephews, Donna Gail Moss, Dennis Moss, Elaine Harris, Lisa Sauls, and John Tippett; a host of other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and special friend, Joe Oakley.

To honor her wishes, her body was cremated, and all services are private.
