Margaret Casteel Holt

Mrs. Margaret Casteel Holt, age 82 of Sweetwater, TN died Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the Sweetwater Home for Seniors following an extended illness. She was born in McMinn County, Tennessee on May 4, 1931, daughter of the late Edgar and Pearl Moore Casteel. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Olen Holt, 17 years ago.

Mrs. Holt is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Dorothy Holt of Calhoun, GA; and grandchildren, Susan West, Latricia Franklin, David Simerly, Gene Simerly, Debra Webb, and Linda Davis. Several great-grandchildren and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Margaret Casteel Holt will be held Sunday, February 23rd at 3:00 PM from the Evangelistic Outreach Ministries, with Sr. Pastor David Long and Lynn Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Fain Cemetery.

The Holt family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Sunday from 10:00 AM until time to depart to the church for the funeral service.
