Margaret Payne Goff

Mrs. Margaret Payne Goff age 55 of Calhoun passed away suddenly on July 13, 2007 at Gordon Hospital.

She was born in Gordon County on September 3, 1951 daughter of the late James Harry Payne and Pearlie Cope Payne. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Michael O'Neal Payne. Survivors include two daughters; Sonya Payne and Patricia Bagwell. Three brothers: Randall Payne, James Robert Payne, and Roy Thomas Payne. Two sisters: Barbara Ann Wyatt and Kathy Stiles Cole and four grandchildren, Ricky Lee McClure, Brandon Lee McClure, Austin Bagwell and Shyann Bagwell also survive. Funeral Services for Mrs. Margaret Payne Goff will be conducted Monday July 16, 2007 at 2:00pm from the chapel of the Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Marvin Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. Active pallbearers serving will include Randall Payne, Jamie Payne, Keith Payne, Neil Payne, Roy Thomas Payne Jr.and Shane Swift. Michael McClure will serve as an honorary pallbearer. These gentlemen are asked to meet at the funeral home on Monday at 1:30pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday after 10:00am until the funeral hour at 2:00pm.
