Margie Alletta Jones

Mrs. Margie Alletta Jones, age 85 of Ranger, passed away Friday, October 22, 2010 at her residence following an extended illness. She was born in Quititue, Texas on April 20, 1925, daughter of the late John and Lydia Marcham Hallen. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Max Jones, and a brother, Johnny Hallen.

Survivors include a son, Jerry Leon Robinson of Stone Mountain; two daughters, Nancy Carol Wood of California, and Cynthia Harvell of Oakman; a brother, Russell Hallen of Houston, Texas; and three sisters, Daphene Rogers and Norma Ruth Jefferson of Elgin, Texas, and Teresa Reeves of Fort Worth, Texas. Eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Margie Alletta Jones will be conducted Sunday, October 24th at 2:00pm from the Haven of Rest Memorial Park, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Pallbearers will include Brandon Smith, Ronny Lee, Ron Lee, Harvey Thrower, Eric Parise and Casey Fetral. Honorary pallbearers are Jim and Catherine Greengrass.
