Marguerite Gail Gallman, 81, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. She was born in Gadsden, Alabama, on July 15, 1943, to the late R.C. (Ann) Griffith and Josephine (Homer) Minter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Gallman; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Rebecca Rhodes; step-daughter, Deborah Parker; step-daughter-in-law, Linda Gallman; step-son-in-law, Herbert Parker.
She is survived by her children, Shelton L. Phillips, Jr., John Barry (Cortney) Phillips, David Brian (Kathy) Phillips; step-children, Jackie (Sherrie) Gallman, Karen (Ronnie) Muse, Sharon (Tony) Miller, Ronnie Gallman; brother, Gary W. (Doris) Griffith; sister, Joyce Elaine (Steve) Howard; grandchildren, Brian Phillips, Emily Dempsay, Terry (Haley) Phillips, Emily Case, Keith Wilson, Harper Case, Cristian Phillips, Frankie Phillips, Adalyn Phillips, Dustin Phillips, Heather Phillips, Amber Freeman; 11 great-grandchildren.
Marguerite was a sweet, loving woman. She loved taking trips to Pigeon Forge with her sisters and watching football.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 29, 2024, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. David Griffith officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Gordon County Cancer Society.
