Maria Santos

Maria Santos, age 47, of Calhoun, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Gordon Hospital. She was born on July 16, 1969 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, daughter of Rebeca Morales Luna, and the late Juan Luna.
Maria is survived by her husband of 28 years, Homero Santos; her daughter, Andrea Santos of Calhoun; her son, Homero Santos of Buford, GA; her mother, Rebeca Luna of Eagle Pass, TX., sisters, Lucila Thompson and her husband Bill, of Calhoun, Lidia Cantu and Rebeca Luna, both of Eagle Pass, TX, Silvia Luna of Rome, GA, and Luzvinda Luna of Calhoun; brothers, Elias Luna, Jesus Luna, Eusebio Luna, Juan Antonio Luna, Cayetano Luna and Felix Luna, all of Eagle Pass, TX; mother-in-law, Socorro Salinas; sisters-in-law, Griselda Carrillo, Berta Perales and Selina Santos; and a brother-in-law, Ramon Salinas. Other relatives also survive.
Funeral services to honor the life of Maria Santos will be conducted Friday, March 17th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Keith Reid officiating. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include her husband, Homero Santos, her son, Homero Santos, nephews, Jonathon, Leonardo, and Samuel, and her brother-in-law, Osvaldo.
The Santos family will receive friends on Thursday, March 16th at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home, between the hours of 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM, and on Friday, March 17th from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour of 2:00 PM.
