Marie Cline Hobbs

Marie Cline Hobbs, 81, of Marietta, died on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Tranquility Hospice Center in Marietta. Marie was born in Gordon County on January 29, 1936; she was the daughter of the late Walter ODell and Sudie Erwin Cline. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Vieva C. Byars. Marie retired as a secretary from Cagle Foods.

Marie is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Emogene and Clell Corbin; nieces,. Nephews and other relatives.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons on Saturday, September 16 from 2:00 until 2:30 p.m. The graveside service will follow the visitation at 3:00 at Erwin Hill Church of God. Rev. Dr. James Shope will officiate. Pallbearers are Greg Selman, Jacob Selman, Louise Byars, Tim Byars, Harold Stamey, and Danny Cline.

The family has asked that instead of flowers, donations in Maries memory be made to Erwin Hill Church of God.
