Marion Brock Henderson

Mrs. Marion Brock Henderson, age 83, of Calhoun, passed away August, 12, 2014 after an extended illness. She was born on July 4, 1931, daughter of the late W.B. ""Bill"" Brock and Lou Ella Brock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Dan Brock and Joy Darby. She was a member of Damascus Baptist Church.

She leaves behind a husband, Jerome Chapman Henderson; two sons, Jeff and his wife Cindy Henderson of Calhoun, and Brock and his wife Tammy Henderson of Calhoun; one brother, Howard and his wife Brenda Brock of Calhoun; one sister in law, Betty Brock of Calhoun; one brother in law, Louis Darby of Adairsville; three grandchildren, Cody and his wife Beth Henderson, Austin Henderson, and Brody Henderson. Great Grandchildren Mori and Chap Henderson and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Henderson will be held Friday, August, 15, 2014 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Bill Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Chandler Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Cody Henderson, Austin Henderson, Brody Henderson, Monty Moraitakis, Mason Moraitakis, Will Holden, David Scoggins, and Larry Lovingood. Honorary pallbearers will include Reva Green, Phyllis Harris, Bud Holcomb, Clifton Smith, Larry Bowen, Larry Vest, Marvin Taylor, Norman Hollingsworth, Edsil Robbins, Hayden Cantrell, and Gene Smith.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Thursday after 5:00 PM.
