Marion Geneva Hazelwood Crumley

Mrs. Marion Geneva Hazelwood Crumley, age 80 of Calhoun, died Thursday, August 1, 2013 at her residence following several years of declining health. She was a native of Gordon County, born on February 14, 1933 to the late George Dewey Hazelwood and the late Willie Mae Gravitt Hazelwood and was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Virginia Hazelwood of Plainville.

She is survived by a son, Gerald Bishop of Calhoun; a daughter, Patricia Lynn Crumley of Calhoun; Other relatives also survive.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Marion Geneva Hazelwood Crumley will be held Saturday, August 3rd at 3:00 PM from the Plainville Church of God of Prophecy, with Rev. Jerry Gaddis and Eric Black officiating. Mrs. Crumley's body will lie in state at the church from 2:00 PM until the funeral hour. Music will be arranged by Elvalena York and Wanda White. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Jim Fowler, Matt Jones, Ray Matthews, Neal Fowler, William Howard and Levi Rice. These gentlemen are requested to assemble at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday.

The Crumley family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Friday, August 2nd from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
