Marion Jean Wiley

Mrs. Marion Jean Wiley, age 75 of Calhoun, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at Starcrest of Cartersville. She was born on April 26, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late William and Margaret Pue Henne. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Bill Henne.

During her lifetime, Mrs. Wiley was a CPA for Diebold, Inc. She was a very doting grandmother, and was active in the Harris Arts Center, teaching art classes. She was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, and had previously been a member of Nativity Lutheran Church in Austell, GA.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, John and Dawn Wiley of Calhoun; a daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Lonnie Allen of Douglasville, GA; a sister, Melody Nelson of Ocala, FL; and a loving sister-in-law, Darlene Henne. Multiple grandchildren, and nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service to honor the life of Mrs. Marion Jean Wiley will be held Saturday, September 17th at 3:30pm at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions are made to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.
