Mark Van Hensley

Mr. Van Hensley, 53, of Calhoun died at his home on Thursday, March 5, 2015 following several years of declining health.

Van was born in Gordon County on October 12, 1963. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Ray Hensley. Van was a passionate and talented artist.

Survivors are his wife, Deborah Hensley; his mother, Rosie Long Hensley; brothers and their wives, Michael and Joan Hensley, Jerry and Sandra Hensley, and Jeffrey Hensley; his sister, Michelle Hensley, all of Calhoun.

To honor his wishes, Van was cremated. The family will hold a memorial service on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. from the Cornerstone Full Gospel Church. Pastor Ray Davis and Pastor Mike Stone will officiate.
