Mr. Marlon Hall, age 52 of Plainville, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010 at Erlanger Medical Center. He was born in Gordon County on November 16, 1957, son of Geneva Boswell Hall and the late George Arvil ""Jabo"" Hall.
Marlon enjoyed riding horses and coon hunting. He was employed by Church Chair.
Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Rita Faye Hall of the residence; his mother, Geneva Boswell Sinnamon and her husband Freddie; a son, Bo Hall of Calhoun; three daughters and sons-in-law, Amanda and Terry Hall of Shannon, April and Donald Brunner of Plainville, and Kandi and Jay Rich of Sonoraville; his step-mother, Pamela Hall of Plainville; grandmother, Mrs. Nell Boswell of Dalton; and three sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Wayne Jones, Donna and Mike Fite, and Betty and Andy Hightower, all of Calhoun. Six grandchildren and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Marlon Hall will be conducted Wednesday, November 3rd at 3:00pm from the East Calhoun Church, with Pastor Keith Reid officiating. Interment will follow in the Scott Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Derrick Dotson, Chris Broyles, Steve Gravitt, Dale Davis, Sammy Barrett, and Tommy Payne. Honorary pallbearers are Donald Brunner and Terry Hall. Music will be arranged by Tim Reid.
Mr. Hall's body will lie in state at the East Calhoun Church Wednesday from 2:00pm until the funeral hour.
The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Tuesday from 5:00pm until 9:00pm.
