Obituary

Marsha Lynn McDaniel, 55, of Calhoun, Georgia died Thursday, August 13, 2020. She was born on July 12, 1965 in Dalton, Georgia to Marshall and Charlotte Witherow Smithey.
She is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Flipper McDaniel; daughters, Marla Hall, Mayla (Rhett) Jackson, and Etta McDaniel; parents, Marshall and Charlotte Smithey; several friends and other relatives also survive.
The funeral to celebrate the life of Marsha will be Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 3:00 PM from Heritage Baptist Church with Rev. Shane Parrott and Dr. Bert Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in Fain cemetery. Pallbearers serving include, Pete Weber, Brian Young, Kenny Fuquea, Terry Brumlow, Maurice Jones, and Jim Deloache. Honorary pallbearers will be the Volunteers of Advent Health Gordon gift shop.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Heritage Baptist Church from 12:00 PM until the service hour of 3:00PM. Masks are required to be worn by anyone who attends the visitation or funeral.
