Mrs. Martha Ann Pass Parker, 82 of Plainville, GA died Tuesday, July 07, 2015 at Redmond Regional Medical Center following a sudden illness. She was born in Gordon County on April 15, 1933, daughter of the late Roy and Flora Grogan Pass. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Parker in 2011; her son, David Parker; her baby, Robert Lamar Parker; brothers, Roy Pass, Jr., and Kenneth Pass; and granddaughters, Stacie Blackstock and Brandy Glass.
She leaves behind her son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Yvonne Parker; her daughters, Denise Glass and Kyle (Joe) Silvers, all of Calhoun; a brother, Johnny Pass of Plainville, MA; a sister, Jo Dean Bryant of Calhoun; grandchildren, Jeremy Parker, Crystal Blackstock, Amanda (Eric) Faulkinberry, and Brittany Jones; and great-grandchildren, Hannah Dodd, Chandler Faulkinberry, Preston Parker, Peyton Parker, Dylan Blackstock, Jacob Blackstock, and Allie Blackstock.
Services to honor the life of Mrs. Martha Ann Pass Parker will be held Thursday, July 9th at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. David Ray and Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Music will be arranged by The Morrison Sisters. Interment will follow in Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Ricky Stone, Dylan Blackstock, Russell Bryant, Jerry Pass, Jeremy Parker, and Mark Thornbrough. Honorary pallbearers are the men of Fellowship Baptist Church in Plainville, Peyton Parker, and Chandler Faulkinberry.
The Parker family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, July 8th at 5:00 PM.
