Martha Anne Andrews

Mrs. Martha Anne Andrews, age 71, of Powder Springs passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at WellStar Kennestone Region Medical Center after several months of declining health.
She was born in Gordon County on June 24, 1943, daughter of the late Johnny Lee and Glenese Florence Ratcliff Waters.

Mrs. Andrews attended Oakman School and was a graduate of the Fairmount High School Class of 1961. She was a member of White Graves "Coosawattee" Baptist church, where she also was the pianist for several years. She also played the piano for many revivals and funerals. She loved tending to flowers and was an avid reader. She especially loved to read her Bible.

She is survived by her husband Charles R. Andrews, to whom she was married to for 50 years; two sons, Jonathan Andrews and Stephen Andrews; two aunts, Mary Ratcliff and Ruby Ratcliff. Several cousins and other relatives also survive.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Martha Anne Andrews will be held Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Isaac Johns, Rev. Sammy Allen, and Rev. Perry Blackstock officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Jimmy Owens, Chris Ratcliff, Sammy Ratcliff, James Ratcliff, Tim May, and Buddy Lowe.

The Andrews family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 28 after 1:00 PM.
