Marvin Paul Painter

Mr. Marvin Paul Painter, 44 of Adairsville, died Tuesday, November 17, 2015. He was born in Dalton, GA on August 17, 1971. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherren Jo; a sister, Shirley Painter; and a brother, William D. Painter.

He worked many years at Mohawk Industries and was a truck driver for Werner Enterprises. He was a member Victory Temple Church of God.

He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Hall Painter; his parents, Leonard Paul Painter Jr. and Sherry Ann Burchette Painter; a son, William Paul "P.J." Painter; half brother, Steve Painter; half sisters, Lynn Ramza (Jamie) and Barbara Winkle (Bobby); brother-in-laws, Mike Fowler (Tina), Michael Allen (Teresa Hall), and Chris Johnson (Donna Hall); sister-in-laws, Brenda Painter and Sonia Harness; nieces and nephews, Dakota, William Jr., Christian, James, Ryan, Bobby, Kathy, Tosha, Tiara, Kelly, and Taya.

Services for Mr. Marvin Paul Painter will be held Sunday, November 22nd at Victory Temple Church of God at 2:00 pm, with Pastor Jeffery Dutton, Rev. Dennis Childers, and Rev. Michael Quninton officiating. Interment will follow at Haven of Rest. Pallbearers serving include Lee Baldwin, Michael Fowler, Chris Johnson, Randy Clark, David Sheriff, Everett Dunn, and Antonio Searles. Honorary pallbearers serving are Eric Stevenson, Chad Hughes, Dakota Painter, Grady Silvers, Sean Miller, Don Long, and friends and coworkers from Mohawk.

The Painter family will receive friends at the church on Saturday, November 21st from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
