Mary Charlotte Tomlinson

Mrs. Mary Charlotte Erwin Tomlinson, 74 of Calhoun, died Tuesday, December 27, 2016. She was born in Gordon County on August 2, 1942, daughter of the late Rev. Stanton Erwin and Mary Jo Thomas Erwin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Alice Pass.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, John Lamar Tomlinson; a son, Tony Lamar Tomlinson; a daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Neal Shadden; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Linda Erwin, Randy and Wilma Erwin, Timmy and Pam Erwin, and Danny and Benita Erwin; sister and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Henry Hunter and Mickey Pass; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services for Mrs. Tomlinson will be held Friday, December 30, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. from Victory Temple Church of God, with Rev. Jeff Dutton, Rev. Keith Reid, and Rev. Dennis Childers officiating. Interment will follow at Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Jason Carney, Paul Defoor, Darren Pass, Todd Gibbs, Frankie Tomlinson, and Jerome Poole. Honorary pallbearers are Mark Poole, Jeff Erwin, Monte Erwin, and Members of the Victory Temple Church of God.
The Tomlinson family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, December 29th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Services for Mrs. Mary Charlotte Erwin Tomlinson are under the care and direction of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home of Calhoun.
