Mary Crosby

Mrs. Mary Jane Young Crosby, age 61 of Calhoun, passed away Monday, March 16, 2009. She was born on September 15, 1947 in Bartow County, daughter of Lucille Emerson Young and the late Joe Young. She was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Crosby is survived by her husband, Willie Crosby, to whom she was married for 43 years; a daughter, Connie Millsap of Calhoun; mother, Lucille Young of Rome; a sister, Glensse White of Cedartown; two brothers, Jimmy Young of Rome, and Bobby Young of Tennessee. Three grandchildren, Brittany Ball, Brandon Rollins and Kristie Millsap; two great grandchildren, Anslie Reeves and Logan Ball, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Jane Young Crosby will be conducted Friday at 2:00pm from the Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Active pallbearers serving will include Kevin Connolly, Wayne Millsap, Darrell Young, Roy Floyd, Chapin Brookshire, and Justin Millsap. Interment will follow the service in the Haven of Rest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home Thursday, from 5:00pm until 9:00pm.
