Mrs. Mary Frances Davidson, age 79 of Calhoun, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2008 at Gordon Hospital following several years of declining health.
Mrs. Davidson was born on December 22, 1928 in Whitfield County, daughter of the late George and Irene Barrett Epperson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jess Davidson on June 2, 2000 to whom she had been married for 50 years. During her lifetime; she was employed by General Motors in Detroit and was a homemaker.
Mrs. Davidson is survived by a daughter, Brenda Joyce Ingram and her husband Charles, of Calhoun; a grandson, Chandler Austin Ingram of Calhoun; and several brothers, sister, nieces and nephews. Special caregivers, Louise Hooper, Marilyn Pope and a special friend, Vivian Butler also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Frances Davidson will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Singing will be arranged by Mrs. Gussie Knox and Mrs. Marilyn Pope. Interment will follow the service at Haven of Rest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home Monday evening during the hours of 6:00pm until 9:00pm.
